The first time I popped off one of those covers, I was a purist and I removed the rear seat figuring that the cover would not need to be removed for a long time. Obviously, I had forgotten about the bleeder hidden away in there. The cleanest way I found to cut off that strip of reinforced plastic is, once the cover has been removed, with a cutoff wheel chucked into a die grinder. The quickest way is to carefully cut it with a fine toothed jab saw with the cover in place. George |
