I did have the OG VW muffler fail at 45,000 miles +-, so the Midas one lasted about as long. In the case of the oe muffler, the baffles came loose inside, & in the case of the Midas, the weld broke at the pipe to muffler connection from what they said was too much vibration(bad vw design of bracket?). Both mufflers were in good shape other than those fatal problemas. Tom |
