You are right, however no doubt, you never camp in your westy in the winter?

60's that was essentially a 2 gal. Bucket w/ toilet seat on it.  These are
now very very rare & sell for $1500 +- on the samba.  Don't know if it was
intended for use inside or out, but either way, this idea has been around
for a long time.

I got a very nice RV porta potti w/ cover that came w/ my 84 Westy from the
PO.

I don't use it, but it would be odorless once the contents are
flushed/sealed, is easy to maintain, has separate water for flushing, blue
stuff to mix w/ the yucky stuff in the bottom tank, & costs about $125+-.

They are available in rv supply stores ,etc.
