<< I have no problem pulling the locks, but need suggestions for removing a locking gas cap w/o the key.>> Conrad, The easiest and fastest way to remove a locking gascap which is missing the key is a screw in body puller. 1) Screw tip of slide hammer body puller into key hole. 2) Slide hammer hard. Plastic latches within cover should bend or snap off. My local VW repair guy says he's done this over a hundred times in the 40 years of working on cars. He says he's never dropped any broken tabs into the filler neck. I tried it. Took about ten seconds for the whole operation.
