I stand by my offer that if anyone has a similarly equipped syncro they would like to sell me for $6000 I will buy it (and turn it around on eBay for more than double without touching it).

I agree that stock matters when you are talking about vintage muscle cars but it doesn't apply to VW vans. REMOVING my $900 volks cafe bumpers, my $1500+ 15" south african wheels and tires, my $750 big brake kit, and my $600 bike rack shouldn't DOUBLE what my van is worth.

Even if they WANTED a stock van, any savvy westfalia specialist would buy a van like mine, strip it for the extras and turn around and sell it as stock.

Please George prove me wrong, find me a top condition, modified or otherwise, low mileage syncro camper for $6000 and I will pay you a $1000 finders fee when I buy it and flip it.

Chris
