Subject: re-wiring the BA6 to run when engine is off?

Can you?

Basically, can you trick the BA6 into running when the motor is in the off position?

Id like to wire the power to my second battery (or make it switch-able between the two) so I can run it at night once in a blue moon without the motor running at the same time.

Or is the BA6 not safe for use while not driving? (as long as I don't park over a big pile of leaves!)

thanks for any tips, suggestions, or misc tomfoolery.

chris.
