Roger, I recently took my fridge apart. The brown material between the pipe and the aluminum heat sink is called "thermal mastic". The local RV place had the thermal mastic in 10 oz. (300 ml.) tubes. I brought in the aluminum heat sink and they put a bead of mastic on it for me. Be careful this stuff stays soft forever and would be hard to remove from clothes or upholstery.
