I've heard it said that only 3% of the worlds population lives on the shores
of a body of water.
By body of water I'm thinking, rivers, lakes, oceans.
That means 97% of the world has a pretty good knowledge of hurricanes,
tsunami, floods and monsoons and the damages they reek.
