Maybe I did not explain my point properly. I'm saying you can't have it both ways. If you are going to charge book charge book, if you are going to charge time charge time.

But a freind of mine walked away from a garage that was going to charge him time if the job took longer than book, and book if it took less than book. On the same job.

Pick one and tell the customer up front, you can't have it both ways.
