I have an 84 Westy that has been sitting for about 3 years, when it was put away, it had good oil pressure, but now it doesn't have any, I even removed the sender and no oil came out of the hole. This is an I4 conversion 1.8L, 8v digifant II from a 91 Jetta, mounted with diesel mounts, oil pump, and pan. Could the oil pump need priming? Can this be done through the oil sender hole or by removing the filter and getting oil to the pump? Thanks, Andrew -- |
