The Sears Timing light will last a life time most likely, I have had mine for over 20 years and it still works great.....but it is pretty much old school. Most people I know have been buying Digital Meters as they have all the features of the Sears Unit, but also have Tachometer, Dwell, Battery Voltage and Alternator Voltage. Plus they are smaller and lighter and are almost the same price. Although I will keep my Sears unit a modern digital light is the way to go in my opinion and I have one near the top of my shopping list.
