Just to offer another option, the wheel covers that came with my '97 Jetta
seem to fit nicely on the Vanagon steel wheels... I had one in my hands a
couple of weeks ago, and, being curious, I pushed it into the center of one
of my steel Vanagon wheels (the ones with the snow tires on them) and
"pop"... perfect fit.
Nice look, nice VW logo in the center, probably still available from your
local VW dealer (for a small fortune) or your local wrecking yard (for a
couple of bucks).
