Check local laws on reflective materials and lights. White is not permitted here if on the rear. On the rear it must be red. White is permitted on sides and front. Yellow is preferred on sides but is sometimes permitted on the rear. Depends also on type and class of vehicle. Confused yet???? All I wanted was to add some reflective material to my mini trailer.
