It was about $30 US >back then... Sounds dangerous to me... if you're concentrating on setting the interval, you're not concentrating on where you're going. If you want a programmable wipe system, look at the Hella Raintronic. It is also fully-automatic; switches itself on/off and selfadjusts the interval.
