Anything can made to look have the 91 markers you mentioned. Carfax also mentiones it had 40,649 in 1991. Lots of miels inone year if it is a 91. I've seen this Syncro advertosd elsewhere. Probably Craigslist.

This comment sugest to me tha he changed the appreance of the van:

"Black out window molding and solid rubber trim with rear interior cabin ventilation as featured in the late model vanagons."

I suspect the "91" in the title is simply name spamming. He probably figures on getting the attention of those who only want a 1991 Syncro Westy. IIRC the "H", which is the tenth character in this Syncro's VIN, identifies this as 1987 model. I think 1991 would have an "M" code.
