Subject: Road rage cause--Diesel powered vanagons - Driving Slow
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=iso-8859-1

Well, this has certainly turned into an interesting discussion! I agree with Rocket J Squirrel about having something on the back to let people know "I'm givin' her all I've got" - - what I've always envisioned is that robot in the old Gyro Gearloose cartoons (the one-wheeled gizmo with a light bulb for a head) zig-zagging madly along behind me, light bulb a-blinkin', holding a sign saying, "slow vehicle ahead"! But seriously, I think having that reflective tape on the rear really helps. Also, would like to comment that during an interstate trip last summer, in which I drove my '85 Mercedes Diesel, even going 75 on I-40 still felt like going 55 in the VW. Was I ever relieved to get back on the two-lane! It doesn't seem to me to matter how fast or slow you go, there's always someone going faster.

Cheers, etc., Gary
