They had a cool deal on a Blauplunkt Sevanna recently under clearance items.
I kept going there and checking it out and almost bought it.

It has a very euro looking face as opposed to the bubble gum candy types of
all the new decks of today.
I had to give up my love of Pioneer tuner decks, have been a faithful buyer
of them since I was in highschool.
They have become way too "chrome rocket tail lamp" to me to ever buy one
again.

Too bad, also Blauplunkt has lowered to the stupidity of the "flash factor"
as well.
I suppose the market for car audio here in the US is forcing them to cater
to the "bling"
Personally it kills me, "there spinnin, dude, there spinnin".

I only hope in Europe they have not gone as senseless with the "dub factor"
as is the case here.

The clearance shelf at Midwest currently has the Blauplunkt Pueblo which
looks fairly euro but is a really low end deck.

I was able to replace the deck in my Porsche with a refurb Toronto ($500
new) from Blauplunkt US for $145,
Really nice deck and looks like it belongs in a high end German car.
