Sounds like it might be a twin turbo set up. With that much power it would probably match up with the stock vanagon transmission gearing with no problems. Would probably have to move up to a KEP high pressure clutch though. A picture that I cant locate again showed what was supposedly a vehicle with the prototype engine in it. It still had the typical sloped subaru nose so I am wondering about the height of the engine and if the engine was really in that vehicle. jimt
