Just think of a name like benT? all kinds of weirdness comes into play.. lol for most it might sound kinda burning man-ish, or road rage-ish.. never know, but to know benT is to understand benT.

Most of you guys have got it easy. Try getting someone to spell "Schwaia" write the first time. No matter how slowly I spell it, the American mind cannot grasp the idea of "aia". It's quite funny.

My wife has a somewhat similar problem. Her name is Evon - spelled just as it sounds - which results in telephone salespeople asking for Evan. At least it makes it easy for me to immediately identify the sales calls. :-) She thought her spelling was unique, until I found a package in the grocery store of "Evon's Nuts." Oddly descriptive. I had said that about her often.

Yes, I have similar problems with both mt first and last names. I am Evan Mac Donald. I have been "Eyvonne" or "Evoynne" more times than I can count. When I was down South, I went by "E.J." to cut down on the confusion. A guy can only take so much of a girls name, after all.

And for the last name - I'm the farmer, not the clown! That was my answer to all the smart-alecks, especially while in the service! LOL!
