Hi Gang,

Just want to remind those wishing to attend that we have less than 17
hours to go.

For you late readers, the 5th Annual Van-O-Rama will be at:

Alta Loma Park in So. San Francisco

Figure on getting there around 10am. I'll be there until 5pm.

There will be even less organization than usual. Usually there is no
organization. Meet at the south parking lot where there should be
plenty of parking!!!!

I did not reserve any tables or BBQ's as noone had expressed the need
for one. The facilities are first come first served if we do not have
reservations. I suspect we will mostly be milling about the vans. That
is why I took to move the activities at the lesser used parking area.

Bathroom facilities are at the opposite end of the grassy field. No
grassy knolls here. That is only in in Stan's flat world of greasy
trolls. It's about a 3-5 minute walk to the toilet depending on how
bad you have to go. Plan ahead. There are houses on either side of the
parking lot so someone WILL see you if you decide try to use your van
as cover.

There are tennis courts, baseball diamond, and plenty of lawn for
play. Park is dog friendly but please pick-up after your pet.
Everything is pretty much first come first served.

My hope is there will not be much activity in the park this tomorrow.
Many SSF residents will be at nearby Orange Park for the South San
Francisco Day in the park festival.

Anyway, if you've read this far and are still looking for directions,

as you final destination. This house is the last house before the park
entrance. The street dead ends into the park parking lot. There should
be some Vanagons there to mark the spot. Try to park together so we
can make prurdy picat-chers.
