I'd like to thank Ben T for hosting todays meet In "The Industrial City" of South San Francisco. Although quaint and off of the beaten path, it seems as though everyone who came and set a spell were enjoying the company of the other " 251 " crazies. There were a fair share of Westies and Subaru conversions as well as a few that combined the 2 as well.Although all people have a different view of the perfect version of a single Marque, you could see the pride of ownership in each and every Vw that was in attendence.I talked with Steve who had done a very nice Diesel to gas conversion himself from scrounged parts, this is what makes the hobby great. Although I was only able to meet a few people due to my 6 yr old ,I thouroughly enjoyed myself and look forward to next years event should Ben or someone else do it. By the way I had the light blue 85 Crewcab, my version of the perect "251"
