I'm Edward, not George.

The relay package says Bosch "Easytronic" on it, interval 2-45 sec. PN: 0 986 335 058.

It list 36 different models it applies to including Audi, Peugeot, VW, Citroen, Saab, Porsche, Volvo, Opel. It says it works on the VW Santana from 9/81 up. Is the Santana the Vanagon? Otherwise it doesn't list Vanagon. But it does work fine in my '86.
