Also depends on the size of the blower and what you want to do with it. This brings up a good point, don't add this stuff to an engine that wasn't designed for it. On the vw 1.6 turbo (the only turbo motor I have any direct experience with) the crank is induction hardened on one throw, the block deck is thicker, the valves and valve seats harder, the oil pump is 15% larger and the pistons are cooled from the bottom by squirters. Another good point. Turbocharging may take a little bite out of performance, though, as the fan itself is more restrictive than no fan at all. > It a by product product of the exhaust flow, but it's not a "right > now", > when you mash the pedal boost in power.
