I though I'd give the list first shot at this:

I have a rebuilt Vanagon 4 speed manual transmission available. The customer who ordered the transmission has since sold the van and no longer wants the tranny.

This is a complete rebuild: all new syncro rings, bearings, seals, gaskets, and of course, a new late model 3/4th gear slider. It also has a new operating shaft for the clutch release bearing.

It is an ABD series transmission, and will fit all '84 & up Vanagons (2WD).

I'm offering it to the list for $850/outright, plus shipping. The tranny is normally $1,150, but the previous customer already paid a $300 non-refundable deposit and I've deducted that amount from the price.

It will go on eBay if it doesn't sell this week.

Cheers,

Jeff www.vanagonparts.com
