Cripes, Terry, give it a rest, willya? The schedule 5S (.065) you use is the
thinnest available in that diameter, and 304L is absolutely the most common
grade used for stainless steel tubing. Your insinuation that these German
pipe benders may have used thinner pipe of "lower grade" stainless steel
flies in the face of the fact that it they'd have to spend MORE on raw
material, as .065 304L is already the cheapest stainless tubing in the world
due to economies of scale!
And I see that the pipes you have available have rubber hose connections

Are the silicone connections as abrasion resistant as multi-comp reinforced
rubber? The old hoses at either end of the pipe are still rubber-- is that
not good enough? Seems to be good enough for cars rolling off the assembly
line RIGHT NOW.
How much are one piece SS pipes?
He doesn't appear to have a one piece version. If you want to cite an actual
valid selling point, there you go.
The pipes at the Samba.com <http://Samba.com> have this all clearly

Uh huh. As if saying you used the cheapest, most common stainless tubing
available for that application (and calling it "heavy wall"!) is offering
useful information. Isn't that the assumption one makes with all reputable
businesses that stand behind what they sell? That what they offer is usable
for the purpose it's intended? I'm sure nobody minds when you shill your
wares on the list through your RC sock puppet; but spreading baseless FUD
about a respected list member's product offering because it competes with
yours is pretty low-rent behavior. If you've got evidence that the pipes Ron
is selling are of lower grade than your own *minimum industry standard*
304L/5S pipes, let's hear it. Otherwise, quit wasting our bandwidth with
innuendo.
