This is one of the differences between the Dometic 182A and 182B. The later B model, used starting around 1982, has the igniter wire right at the rear outside edge of the fridge. Whenever the fridge is taken out or put back there is a strong chance of the wire rubbing or getting pinched. Why they would change it to the more vulnerable design is beyond me. The early model's wire is very protected.
