By seal I assume that you mean the gasket that goes between the pan and trans.If you have not piched the gasket when installing, just retighten all four bolts till they dont tighten any more. Then use 1 hand on the ratchet and tighten them with your weak hand to get reasonable torque. Also the collar nut that holds the dip stick tube to the pan may be loose. Use your cresent wrench here. In the future,you can change your trans fluid at every oil change by just loosening this collar nut and putting a pan underneith and then measuring what came out. Remember to retighten the nut.If you ever over fill the trans, loosen the collar nut again. |
