Well... Congratulations on your marriage....

Anyway, the light bulb has to be accessed via the front heater control panel. Just pull out the plastic knobs straight back and remove the dial for the fan speed control. Then ease out the plastic panel with a knife or screwdriver. the bulb is pushed into the back of the panel with wires attached to the holder. Removing the bulb from the holder is the real trick. Hope you have some needle nosed pliers and some clever imagination so you get it out....

BTW, with your nick name, I assume the behind the scenes of your honeymoon went well too.. (If ya know what I mean...) ;)

Hey All,

My wife and I just got back from our voyage to New Mexico to get married and honeymoon in the mountains. We had an incredble time. The weather, the food ,the people, the vistas ,the camping facilities, all exceptional ! My hats off to N.M..

Thanks again to eveyone who helped us with camping spots.Especially Maggie Dew and The Pensioner....I'm hooked on Green Chile....Rio Grande Gorge was fantastic..

Well all the driving on the wash board roads blew some of my light bulbs, one being the heater/vent control assembly light bulb.Tonight I took the gauge cluster out,ash tray, and stereo and I can't find the bulb.I know it's in there somewhere ?? Bentley makes no mention.Muchos Gracious ahead of time for any help ! woody "keep on pushin" Lake Bluff, IL.

ps.. no ploblems at all with the 89 westy, except me running the batteries down one night. I just went out and bought a DC power source/ jumper.
