When my mom pasted away, god rest her soul, She had put my older, mean step sister in charge of her estate. After the funeral, when I went to my mother's house, all of the locks had been changed. The next time I went there, the house was empty & for sale. I wanted all of my childhood memorabilia. That my mother had saved. &, in the end, All I ended up with were two cheap pine chest of drawers. My biggest regret, this 20 years later, was taking the chest of drawers. Sometimes it's just better to let it go walk away be free. best, JC.... I am not my Vanagon. ...mi casa es su casa
<<Unless a lawyer can get to the judge Monday before my sister does, I will probably go to jail for contempt. It's no fun to be the object of contempt.>> Damn the Torpedo's ! Full speed ahead ! I love contemptible people who stand their ground Robert. Stand up for your right's !! Litigation is a pain in the ass, especially when it comes to splitting up the property in a family. You'll soon find out who is the biggest AH is. It'll cost you maybe $40.00 to file a multiple suit against her, and will probably slow things down for awhile. ( as far as her having you out on the street) Get to the county clerks office first thing Monday morning and file for defamation of character, mental anguish, or something , just to take the immediate monkey off your back. Meanwhile, I'd do some shopping real quick for competent Loophole to get your tit outa the wringer. See if you can get a stay of execution from the judge for another 90 days. Meanwhile you can be stirring some gruel. It'll take some fast movement on Monday, but I think this is your only way out, or at best a temporary fix. Otherwise I think your going to be brown bagging it on the curb on Monday.
Good Luck, Perry Mason |
