Thanks for all the very helpful responses. I saw your website, TomC. The reason I was inquiring about the hacksaw is because I don't have easy access to a sawzall right now... I just wanted to make sure people thought it was a reasonably sane course of action. I will trying gripping the rod through the springs, but I'm not sure how well that will work... In the meantime, I'm eyeing the bushings on the bottom side of the connection from the sway bar to the radius rod---they look pretty shot. These look easy to change right? It won't throw off my alignment? From a parts standpoint, is the bottom one the "inner" or the "outer" bushing? Thanks again, Wes |
