Here in colorado I get tested for pollution every two years. (just realized mine turns 25 next year. If they let me replate it as an oldie it will be my last test). Also insurance depends on a lot of variables. State being one of them. But companies I talked to here said yes I could get RV insurance if I had another vehicle insured as a daily driver type. When I asked state reg people when I first bought the vanagon they said I could register it as a multi use vehicle or specifically as an RV/mobile home. There were no advantages to either one in this state.
