Jim, I don't know what year/engine you have, but on my '85 1.9, this happens often. In my fiddling with it, I've found that if I reseat the two-pin electrical connection to the small vacuum/electrical thing located in the upper right corner of the forward engine compartment bulkhead, the problem goes away for a while. I'm not sure just what that part is called (or if the 2.1 has one... I assume other listees can ID the part, and the years it was used) but it does seem to be involved in talking to the ECU until the engine warms up. Tim At 02:10 AM 10/4/2005 -0500, you wrote: >3.
