Most Passat wheels have an offset of ET44-45. Vanagons typically use ET30-32. You may or may not need spacers, depending on the width of the wheel. Secondly, the centerbore is too small for Vanagons. You need to bore them out to at least 66mm. Lastly, the center caps may not fit depending on what you do in the above procedures.
