My harlequin Dane Zeus loves riding in our Vanagons. He got used to the 7-pass conventional seating at first, then I had to switch him to our Wolfsburg with rear-facing seats - that actually threw him off a bit. He looked at the van like "what did you do???" But now he just climbs in and goes to sleep, sometimes on the backseat or climbs over into the very back.

Donna & Zeus's vans, 87 Syncro and 87 Wolfsburg

Yep, though my work is kind of different than most. We got ours specifically to use as a treansport vehicle for our rescue dogs. We can fit 5-10 great danes in the Vanagon and it can handle them both in terms of weight and volume. --
