Ok Greetings to one and all

I recently refurbished the interior of my Van. Put in new door panels and fitted new Caravelle Seats. firstly I had to remove those pesky clips. The only way is to sharpen an old paint scraper ( mine was a 2" wide steel blade and using as much force as necessary hit just behind the head of the clip and break it off. Sorry no other way of doing it. The wide blade paint scraper will protect the liner board but do take care also. You will be removing clip heads from your van for days after. Also wear some eye protection just in case.

After having new interior boards cut using my old ones as templates I had them covered with fabric and sourced a new type of clip to refit. I finished up putting a nylon type screw in clip that allows you to remove same at a later stage. I did this because the power door actuators have a habit of going kaput and you need to get at them behind the interior lining.

Clips were sourced here in Australia but in my search for same I found similar ones on the EBAY Store. I believe they are GM clips. You can have any colour you like as long as they are grey or black.

Thanks to Joel and Ben T, with info re the seats, I have finished my project. Looks great and I can remove the interior panels any time I want with a screwdriver.
