Bob

I am not quite picturing this fleece blanket insulator. Can you describe where the blanket is installed? Is it stretched horizontally to cover the opening to the upper poptop area? Or does it cover the canvas to provide better insulation?

Thanks

Aaron, I can't tell you a thing about the installation but you'll get plenty of responses about that anyway. What I can tell you is that since you have a Westy, consider making a simple and VERY effective thermal barrier by installing a fleece blanket at the airbox level (roofline), using snaps on the top of the gray metal surface and blanket. It makes a huge (at least 30 degrees, often much more) difference in the cabin temperature compared to the outside and canvas enclosed upper part of the van interior. That will cut down significantly on the amount of fuel used to keep the living area warm, too. Last spring I camped in mid-20's temps and it was in the low 50's to low 60's inside the barrier, in the middle of the night.

You'll have no trouble keeping the interior at 60 or above.
