I checked this, but I did clean a lot of crud from these as well as from the rubber elbow running from the AFM to the intake manifold. Actually I am suspecting that the throttle closed switch was adjusted with the crud in there as a shim because it is now occasionally stalling when I come to a stop, with a sudden drop in throttle. I did not think they would effect part throttle performance, just full and 0 throttle situations (as that is when they are activated. (cheking Bently on that now)

I thought it it was kind of funny that it actually drove worse after cleaning some of the crud out of the throttle linkage. Makes me really wonder about doing a through engine bay cleaning, even if it is needed. I I have also changed most of the braided vacuum hose as it was rather brittle.
