<<Interesting. My friend Dan's 86 Westy Wolfy Poptop Camper came with no propane or kitchen but did come with the sealed compartments for both batteries.>> It just must be a Weekender Mark.

I would like to know what a "sealed battery compartment" is. (??)

It sure isn't available in any Vanagon I've ever seen.

Just because it has a lid over the top of the battery doesn't make it sealed.

Most of the compartment is open under the seat, and even if it wasn't the lid, sides, and the front of the compartment sure isn't sealed to the atmosphere.

It isn't available in a Vanagon.
