Subject: Vanagon Tire Guidelines Report - Great Feedback / Thks
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="iso-8859-1"

Volks, Great feedback. Notice, I did not apologize for starting another tire thread. IMHO Correct Tire Selection is one of our major safety issues. If that doesn't deserve an honest spirited debate for the sake of clarification then I don't know what does. In time I will respond to each category of comment with facts and data. Hopefully in the end .... we will all benefit from this exchange. To those that sent praise for the tire report ... thank you. To those that sent challenges .... thank you even more. In the end I hope to explain in detail with factual references & data that, - The Vanagon is a Truck, Not a Car. - It needs properly load rated tires that can support 6000 lbs. - There are many good, safe tire choices. - All Tire Reviews are currently and will continue to be posted at: http://www.roadhaus.com/tires.html - I will identify those that meet VW's Specs. - But all tires will be displayed. - I'm as interested in bad tire reports as good ones. The more we share the more informed we all are. good tires, larry chase roadhaus.com
