> I am in need of some Ideas about my intermitent starting problem. I dont suppose this corresponds to the engine being hot ? on my 85GL auto with an old & then a brand new Bosch starter this would happen. the volt meter showed some thing less han 10volts when the engine compartment was hot, but when cold to warm we'd get better than 10volts so we put a relay between the starter switch & the starter just like the air cooled guys that have the same issue and its been reliable ever since > Most times turn the key it starts. Every so often the starter will not turn. > I hear the pump hum > but no action.
