Subject: Platinum Cat Install suggestions
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=US-ASCII; delsp=yes; format=flowed

Hello all. I will be installing a Platinum Cat 6p12 in my westy soon. It will hopefully help to keep the chill out of the van while living in it this winter in eastern WA.

So I would love to get any suggestions for installing it. It sounds like most people install it behind the passenger seat. Any other locations? Any suggestions/diagrams for building the cabinet for it? Vent/power/gas line routing?

Additionally I'd love to hear what people have experienced with power & gas consumption when using it constantly. Temps will hopefully be in the 0-40 degree range and if I could keep the van above 45-55ish that will be fine. I'd like to keep all liquids in a state where I can drink them.

Although last winter was really mild, 2 winters ago the lows did hit -25 for a bit in December...hopefully another mild winter is coming!

Thanks! Aaron
