Well I want to thank Keith O. for sending me some pictures and info. He sent me a picture of another list member's setup of another heater.

I would love to do something like this as the space behind the front seat currently occupies a valuable closet organizer. I'd love to keep it there if possible at least for now.

Since the front table does not exist in my van, I think that this solution could be a good one for me. Perhaps with a plexiglass filler with vent hole for the vent and some sort of connector for the propane. That way it keeps it off the ground and is a removable setup

Are there any suitable propane fittings that would be safe to use and quick to connect/disconnect? I don't know what kind of fitting is on the heater as I won't be picking it up until the day before I install it.
