Krown wicks its way into every crevice. On my van it will wick UP the seams. Paint does not stick at all over the Krown, and even when I try and clean the Krown off, the paint does not stick well. I'm not sure about the rust converter over top the Krown, I've always done it 1) clean rust out, 2) rust converter, 3) Krown. In that order, I've never had rust come back (since 1998). Great stuff, but it leaves an oily film where ever applied so working on the van is not a very clean endever.
