You are asking a very hard question, I like both automatic and manual. The automatic for ease of putting it in gear and not spilling my coffee. the manual for being able to shift the gears, just like shifting them sometimes. Either on is subject to break downs one is no more expensive to repair than the other, if you do your own repairs. The only big problem is for you to decide which one you like. I solved the problem by having one of each. Phil
