Don't know about Alko(?), but KYB end caps suck. They're made of light metal and deform within a few thousand (maybe hundred) miles, allowing the shock to move around in the mount. When you hit the wrecking yard, make sure you get the heaviy original-style ones - they're the better part of a quarter inch thick.
