A neat and fairly cheap solution (and it even lets you buy a new tool!) is to get a laser labeler. The self-adhesive tape strip it prints out on can be clear, or any of a bunch of colors. My wife got a small one for labeling the supply shelves and bins at the hospital where she works, and it worked out very well. I got to put in "orders" for small labels, at the ends of rolls of tape. The machines are available at places like Office Depot and Staples. Check one out. Depending on the version of machine you get, you can have several font styles, in addition to several size choices. OOO-HOO WHAT FUN!!
