For $3500, I wouldn't want the perimeter of my parking spot outlined with oil! There's been some discussion about this one on the Yahoo diesel vanagon list. I think this is the one that is said to have sold recently for $3900 and is being resold by the buyer for less, but I'm not certain of it. Most good ones I've seen in the last year go for about twice what this guy is asking, but I must admit I've just been reading the posts about prices and not searching out bargains as I don't need another one. I would like to know what a five speed turbo intercooled diesel westy is worth, just to know what I'm not getting by selling it : ) Jim On Oct 14, 2005, at 12:31 PM, joe trussell wrote: > This one looks pretty good, $3500. > > http://denver.craigslist.org/car/101568389.html > > Joe T. > > >> From: Bret Berger <bret@STONEFLYTECH.COM> >> Reply-To: Bret Berger <bret@STONEFLYTECH.COM> >> To: vanagon@GERRY.VANAGON.COM >> Subject: diesel westy prices? >> Date: Fri, 14 Oct 2005 11:16:06 -0600 >> >> Anyone know what a running diesel westy is selling for nowdays??? >> >> -bret >> -- >> Bret Berger >> StoneFly Technology, Inc. >> 1071 East 100 South, Suite D-2 >> Saint George, UT 84770 >> 435.673.3763 x1000 office >> 435.652.8417 FAX >> www.stoneflytech.com > > _________________________________________________________________ > On the road to retirement?
