After using contact cement to do a liner job repair way back on my van I learned it doesnąt work to well when the temperatures get up there. It softened and down came the liner I had repaired. I talked to a shop that did interiors and he told me to look for high temperature in the description of any adhesive used in a car. Listed two below, but there are others as well. Some of those are the permatex or 3m rebranded. Permatex product 27828
