I have a 1981 VW Westfalia that's up for sale. My buddy has been driving it for the past year. This is his description:

This is a great camper van. It runs and drives good, not a lot of power, but, it's a heavy rig with a little 4 cylinder. Bullet proof air-cooled motor. 4 spd tranny. Stove and sink work, fridge could use some work. Pop top, sleeps 4 comfortable. Captains chairs. Dual batteries so it will always start. The fuel injection has been hacked up, so it's hard to start. (The cold start injector was disabled by prev owner.) Get's ~20 mpg hwy. great rig. Just in time for westy camping season - you get the campground all to yourself, and stay dry and warm all weekend.

I'm happy to answer questions.
