I had a mechanic replace my oil seals and clutch on my '87 with stock 2.1, and seem to have more problems now than before. Here is what is happening: 

Before the repairs, I had an intermittent high idle, and that was about it. Now, it has more problems at start-up, regardless if the engine is hot or cold. When first started up, it often stalls and has to be restarted a few times. Sometimes hitting the accelerator a few times helps to keep it running helps, and sometimes that just makes it stall. Eventually, it will run, at high idle. Whether I let it run or drive it for an hour, if it is shut off, it has the same problem at start-up.

A short time after getting it back, it also now has the oil pressre light come on. If I rev up the engine, it goes out. 

What could be going on here?
